Description:

«Section 1: The Lieutenant-Governor may, by Order in Council, set apart any portion of the Ontario Hospital for Inebriates to be used for the purposes of an asylum for the Insane; and from the date of such Order the part of the said hospital so set apart and the grounds used in connection therewith, shall be, and shall be deemed to be a public asylum, established for the custody
and treatment of insane persons» (p. 95).
