Description:
Protestants are given toleration by Henry IV and gave them rights. The purpose of this was to bring the nation together. The Edict would eventually be revoked by Louis XIV.
Theme:Society was changed by this new idea of religious toleration. Multiple religions was not common so to give both religions rights was a big step for Henry IV.
