Description:
This time period fits the theme of Interaction of Europe and the World because this is a time where Europe really begins to branch out and interact with other countries. While Christopher Columbus was trying to find an alternate route to the East Indies, he ended up finding a "new" area of land called the Americas. This branches out Europe's power to other areas besides within Europe.
