Description:

The Black Plague killed around 1.5 million Europeans during this time period. Although the horrific event brought a major decline in population, many peasants were offered more jobs and were paid more due to the lack of workers from the occurrence. The economy began to rebuild itself and started to flourish from it's previous destruction, this leading to recognizing new ways of increasing the worth of the nation with newfound knowledge.
