22 mars 1765 - Stamp Act
Description:
An act that required colonists to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used. This included all the way from ship's papers, legal documents, licenses, newspapers, other publications, and even playing cards were taxed. Fun fact was books were not taxed by the Stamp act.
