Description:
Ernest Rutherford, also known as “The Father of Nuclear Science”. His gold foil experiments developed the knowledge of the “Proton”. This experiment discovered this by passing alpha particles through gold foil. They measured the alpha particles that bounced back to formulate a subatomic image, similar to Echolocation. Later in his life he discovered that elements such as Nitrogen would eject a proton, which was very similar to Hydrogen. This helped him discover the positively charged building block of elements.
