30 oct. 1812 - Election of 1812
Description:
The image above shows James Madison, because once again in the Election of 1812 he is elected president for his second term. During this election, it is well known that the War of 1812 is still fading out and many elect to keep Madison in office. Through this re-election of James Madison, he establishes a negative precedent that in the country t no time has a president not been re-elected if they had been at war and were currently in war. This can be seen a large failure in Madison's administration, because this now becomes a precedent for many of the presidents to come and many more.
