The Council of Trent was held between 1545 and 1563 in Trent in northern Italy. It was the 19th ecumenical council of the Catholic Church. Prompted by the Protestant Reformation, it has been described as the subject of the Counter-Reformation.
It's apart of SIP because it contributed to religious power in Europe during the mid 16th century, mainly in Italy and Spain.
