Description:
Causes: The British want to help support the East India Company, and they sold the tea exclusively to the colonies at bargain prices. They prevented the colonists from purchasing tea.
Effects: Colonists believed this was to support the Townshend Act. Boycotts began to take place more often, and this will eventually lead to the Boston Tea Party.
