The first congress took place in the concert hall of the Basel Municipal Casino; there were approximately 200 people who attended the meeting. the meeting focused on how to reach the goal of Zionism, which is the Jewish right to live in Israel. This is the first appearance of the idea of Zionism. This is another big step that Jews took to fight for their rights.
