16 déc. 1773 - Boston Tea Party

Description:

Several colonies' leaders decided together to prevent the East India Company from selling their tea. While New York, Philadelphia, and Charleston succeeded, Boston wasn't able to turn the ships away. The Boston colonists decided to dress as Native Americans and throw the tea into the harbor as protest. The influenced many other colonies to recreate the act and encouraged resistance.
