1 janv. 931 av. J.-C. - secession of northern kingdom and southern kingdom
Description:
After the death of King Solomon, the kingdom quickly divided. This was caused by ten Northern tribes which rebelled right after the death of Solomon. Only two Southern tribes, Judah and Benjamin, remained loyal to the House of David. This situation continued for about 160 years until the Assyrians defeated the kingdom of Israel. Jews were guaranteed to be defeated by the Assyrians since the Jewish kingdom was separated (History; Chronology of the Kings of Israel & Judah).
