Invented by Johannes Gutenberg, the printing press enabled the mass production of books and rapid distribution of knowledge. It led to a "social media network" that spread information about Martin Luther's ideas, eventually leading to the creation of Lutherism. It increased Europe's economy greatly by the selling of printed papers (PP).
