1 févr. 1960 - Woolworth Sit-Ins
Description:
Lunch counters, and restaurants in general, were very segregated at this time. African American students would protest the segregation by going to places, like Woolworth, and sit at the counter and sit silently, wanting to be served. White customers and workers would kick them, yell at them, hit them, and torment them.
