7 mars 1936 - Remilitarisation of the Rhineland
Description:
A treaty was signed between the French and the USSR, Hitler claimed this treaty was hostile to Germany and used it as an excuse to retake the Rhineland, a profitable industrial district given to France in the Treaty of Versailles
Three battalions advanced with the orders to retreat at the first sign of resistance, the french however provided none, and the Germans reclaimed their land without a single shot fired.
