He proposed the nucleus is very tiny, dense and positively charged core of the atom, all the atoms positively charged particles called protons are inside the nucleus, nucleus is surrounded by mostly empty space and fast moving negatively charged electrons are scattered outside the nucleus around the atoms edge, this is referred to at the electron cloud.
