The agreement formalized the Axis Powers' partnership, and can be read as a warning to the United States to remain neutral in World War II — or become involved in a war on two fronts. Came with the intention to force the United States to remain isolationist
Axis powers are formed as Germany, Italy, and Japan become allies with the signing of the Tripartite Pact in Berlin. Signed by all three powers on September 27, 1940, one year after Germany's invasion of Poland and the beginning of World War II.
Economic and Social impact: Led to pearl harbor bombing which impacted the economy and socially because people were being more racist towards to the japanese.
