A. Roughly 100 settlers traveled to Plymouth from EnglandB. They came in search of religious freedom.
C. Religious persecution of the puritans in England drove them to search for this freedom in the new world
D. Once in the Americas, the pilgrims suffered from famine and the difficulties of the harsh winters. Eventually making relations with the Natives, the learned to grow American crops and began to prosper.
