Description:

Columbus wanted to find a direct route from Europe to Asia, but instead he found America. He was an Italian Explorer. He found Indians that had already lived on the land.
Europe wanted more of the resources. They thought that Christopher Columbus could find them.
He wanted to find gold and spices on the new land. While insearch for these items he also found new and open land.
Since Columbus wasn’t the first to live on the land, he was forced to share. The land wasn’t shared equally. The Indians were forced to become slaves.
