Description:

Killed 30-50% of the country’s total population
Bubonic Plague symptoms:
Really high fever
Aching limbs
Severe headaches
Vomiting blood
Thick urine that can be black or red
Reddish blotches over skin that later turn black
Putrid smell
Swollen & discolored lymph nodes that rupture
Buboes=bubonic plague
Death within 3-4 days (Cabral)
