Description:

The 2008 WRC was hosted by Region IV in Long Beach California. Region V funded 2 undergraduate scholarships and 5 graduate student scholarships and 1 NUFP scholarship for the WRC. This being a year that Region V did not host the WRC, there was a slight decline in individual membership, down to six hundred and fifty one. However, due in large part to the success of the 2007 WRC, the Region V Advisory Board ended 2008 with a balance of $64,143 dollars in their budget, significantly higher than previous years.
