1 janv. 400 av. J.-C. - Democritus
Description:
Democritus decided that matter was made up of tiny particles and these particles could not be broken down. He called these "atomos". This theory was a well thought of theory and it actually revolutionized the theory of what matter is made of a great deal. If this theory was followed by many scientists to come they would have been on the fast track to finishing the atomic theory.
