Description:
1) arrived in Lahore ( where the court was then residing) and continued as a sort of permanent institution.2) Extended influence on secular politics
3) Fathers Xavier and Emanuel Pinheiro were leaders of the mission
4) Their letters from the court became very widely known for the information they provided on the latter part of Akbar's reign.
