NOTE: The Gravel Wars supposedly started in June of 1968, however there have been several Halloween updates featuring comics, and Scout states that he has known Miss Pauling for six years before 'A Cold Day In Hell'. This leads me to believe the
- June, 1965
- The Administrator of TF Industries hand-picks 'the best of the best' most dangerous mercenaries to work for Team Fortress. These are the Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper and Spy. There are Eighteen Mercs total working for both Reliable Excavation and Demolition (RED) and Builder's League United (BLU).
- For unknown reasons, the RED and BLU classes look identical on either team. This is theorised to be because of cloning.
