Australopithecus means "Southern Ape." Lucy is an example of this. Lucy was found to be a walking chimpanzee, as they were able to walk, but not fully upright. This picture is the skull of an Australopithecus, and the video shows the different bone structures of an Australopithecus, Chimpanzee, and Modern Humans. The map is pinpointing the exact place that the Leakeys found Lucy. They found her in Awash Valley in Ethiopia.
