Description:

Super Mario Bros. 2 (JP) is the sequel to both Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It features new playable characters such as Princess Peach and Toad. The game is reskinned from an unpopular game in Japan entitled Doki Doki Panic, thought with minor adjustments to have it suit more of the Mario series.

Its remakes include a version released in Super Mario All-Stars for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1993 and Super Mario Advance for the Game Boy Advance released in 2001. It's Virtual Console release for the Wii was in 2007 and for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
