Description:

The Peloponnesian Wars were a series of wars fought between Greek city states primarily between Athens and its allies, and Sparta and its Allies. It was started after the Athenians started a fund to unite Greece incase of invasions, but it was discovered that they were using the money for personal gain. Sparta defeated Athens, and in the aftermath Alexander of Macedonia invaded from the north while the city states were still weakened.
