30 déc. 509 av. J.-C. - Roman Republic (509-100 B.C.E.)
Description:
The Roman Republic was a democracy that existed in ancient Rome. It was governed partially by a senate, and this was great because of its diversity. Members of the Senate were only supposed to serve 1-year terms, so the introduction of more people allowed more voices in the Roman civilization. They took care of many things including class problems and expansion, which was all positive towards the society. The Roman Republic fell apart after the punic wars, which weakoned the empire. (2.2)
