1 janv. 1200 av. J.-C. - Bronze Stylus

Description:

Who: Southeast Asians and Indians created the braze stylus.
What: It was made with bronze, pointed at one end, and was flat at the other. It scratched the characters of the language being used on a palm leaf and then the inscriptions were often filled with ink.
Improvements: The flat end of the stylus could be used to erase where the reed pen may not have been able to erase, and it lasted longer than the reed pens. Also the writing surface was much more durable than the clay tablets that the triangular stylus was used to write on.
