After saving up money for years from mowing lawns and doing chores I finally was able to make the most expensive purchase in my life so far. For a bit over $1000 I was able to purchase my own computer which has quite good specs for the price. This computer i bought would have been cheaper than if i had built it myself. This was quite important for me as it showed me if I worked hard enough and did proper research that I can work towards a larger task.
