Multiple deadly avalanches struck the four north-eastern provinces of Afghanistan, causing lots of destructio. The Panjshir province was one of the hardest hit areas. The hardest hit area was Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Over 100 homes were destroyed. Because of heavy snowfall, fallen trees, and other destruction, rescue efforts were slow to reach villages. There were around 310 death in the disaster.
