Description:
One of the earliest known documents in the development of the Rule of Law and establishment of individual rights and freedoms. The doctrine established limits the powers of the monarch and established fundamental rights for citizens.It contributed to the development of classical liberalism in that it was one of the first documents to outline the fundamental rights for individuals such as the freedom from unlawful imprisonment.
