22 sept. 2007 - Red One Camera
Description:
The Red One camera was the first camera to record at a resolution of 3840x2160 (4k resolution) at 60 frames a second. Jim Jannard announced the camera at the 2006 NAB Show.
This was important, as this not only allowed higher resolutions to be filmed, but allowed shots to be re-framed when down sampled to a lower resolution such as 1920x1080 (1080p). This gives the editor more leeway to reframe shots in post.
