Description:
Four months after the election of John F. Kennedy, as US President, 1400 CIA trained Cuban exiles are trained, then deployed in the Bay of Pigs south of Havana. This was done so in hopes for a revolution against new Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who operated under a Communist government. This lead to Cuba seeking help from the USSR.Ajouté au bande de temps:
