1 janv. 1925 - Bulgaria
Description:
Occurred two years after the Corfu incident
Greek troops invaded Bulgaria after an incident on the border, in which some Greeks were killed, and Bulgaria appealed for help.
The secretary-general of the League was immediately on this situation and called a meeting of the League council in Paris. League demanded that both Greece and Bulgaria stand down. League judged in favor of the Bulgarians and Greece had to also pay $45,000 in compensation, but if they disagreed to pay the League threatened sanctions.
The Greeks obeyed, but complained about it a lot.
The situation was a major success for the League and many observers to forget about the same of Corfu.
