Description:
Account of the origins of the jews by Diodorus. Idealized account of the nature of Egyptian practices. Plague struck Egypt, cause was thought to be many foreigners and their rituals and scrificial rites which prevented Egyptian gods from getting their due. Egyptians decided they wouldn't be free of problems until foreigners were expelled. Significant in that the Jews were exiled from the beginning.
