Description:

- Day 26 > 39
- They decide to stay in the villa for a while and become accustomed to a new daily routine.
- One one occasion, Brian walks in on Penny fixing the broken toys and she invites him to help.
- One another occasion, Penny makes a mess in the kitchen and Philip smiles for the first time in weeks.
- They take more precautions, Philip and Nick set up traps to alert them to any intruders or biters. They find an old shotgun in the attic with no shells.
- Brian wakes up from a nightmare because a streak of light crosses his vision. He goes to the window and swears he saw a car turning around at the point where the highway meets the farm road. The next morning Philip and Nick pass it off as a dream but Brian keeps hearing sounds and seeing lights over the next week and a half.
