9 of 13 Colonies Governments say " Yea, Britain, we aren't doing this whole Stamp Act thing. It is lame, and we don't agree with you taxing us when we have no say."

British Parliament and King George reply "Fine, since you guys aren't following our rules we will stop taxing your stamps. But that doesn't mean we can't tax you whenever we want."
