He was a Danish physicist, born in 1885 in Denmark, died in 1962 in Denmark. His greatest contribution to the atomic theory was his atomic model, which showed an atom as a positively charged nucleus surrounded by electrons. Bohr started researching the properties of atoms which led him to his atomic model. Facts- He studied the findings of Max Planck and Ernest Rutherford. The chemical element bohrium, element 107 on the periodic table is named after him.
