Description:
On July 13, 2005, the microSD (SD: Secure Digital) card was introduced. The microSD card was developed by SanDisk, who originally called it T-Flash. T-Mobile sent a cease-and-desist order to SanDisk shortly before launch of the product, causing SanDisk to rename the card TransFlash.
