Considered the beginning to the Cold War, Churchill's declaration of an 'Iron Curtain' made by Stalin, upon Eastern Europe, is supported by the fact that the Soviets began to employ growingly expansionist policies, imposing their ideologies of Communism. Nonetheless, these ideas were shared with the United States, developing their bonds towards building democracy throughout the Post-War world.
