1 août 2006 - Pluto is Not a Planet
Description:
On August of 2006 the International Astronomical Union (IAU) demoted Pluto to a Dwarf Planet. Pluto was demoted because it did not meet the textbook definitions of what a planet was. Pluto did not clear the neighborhood around its orbit.
