5 déc. 2002 - European Prospective Investigation
into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC):
study populations and data collection.
Description:
A study at Harvard that was similar to the 11 year study that found a 32 percent lower risk of coronary heart disease among vegetarians than among non vegetarians. The Harvard study being more detailed stated that “even a slightly lower intake of animal foods combined with a higher intake of healthy plant foods” was associated with a lower risk of developing heart disease, which means you don't have to only eat plants to be healthy. This is significant because it is a study that proves you don't have to be a vegetarian to be healthy.
