Fort Sumter, Charleston Harbor, South Carolina was the theatre of the first battle and the start of the civil war. The Confederate army bombard Fort Sumter for nearly a day and a half resulting in the Union soldiers leaving the fort. There were no casualties on either side.Ajouté au bande de temps:
