Description:
Ernest Rutherford, a student of JJ Thomson, continues his teacher's work by investigating atoms. His continuous investigation led to the discovery of the concept of Half-Lives and the alpha and beta ray, and the nucleus of an atom.
Rutherford's Gold Foil model concluded that atoms were made up of mostly empty spaces, except for the center which held the nucleus.
