Description:

The orphanage had a program in place that allowed my mother to finish primary education and college. She completed her nursing degree in Tegucigalpa. She made many friends there while attending college. Her college was mainly “hands on” and required much attention to details. She practiced in various medical fields to include patients suffering from problems with the heart, mind, blood, digestion and many others. She helped many patients that suffered from Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDs, Malaria, and many other disease found frequently in Honduras.


This is a milestone because where she came from education was a priceless virtue, and a strong influence on her as she grows up.
