Through experimentation Quaker scientist, John Dalton confirms Democritus' theory of the Atom when he discovers it through compounds. He noticed that compounds were combinations of atoms of different elements.His discoveries also developed the Law of Conservation of mass, which states that Mass can neither be destroyed or created.
