2 janv. 1773 - The Boston Tea Party

Description:

The Boston Tea Party was lead by none other than Samuel Adams. He started it because he wanted to make a statement to King George III and because he was afraid that England would have too much control over the economy. He and his “Sons of Liberty” dressed up as Wendad Indians and sang drinking songs as they split open barrels and dumped the tea overboard. The dumped about 90.00 pounds of tea overboard, but didn’t harm anything else on the ship, most likely to keep the nickname “The Boston Tea Party.”
