Description:

The Qin and Han Dynasties were the threshold for the period of dominion regarding the Chinese empire. A variety of institutions set the groundwork for the political system for the following 2,000 years. The developing systems introduced a bureaucratic form of government. One major political event that occurred during this time period was when Emperor Qin initiated the burning of the books, which was a public burning of books to show opposition.
