22 mars 1765 - The Stamp Act The stamp act took place in 1765. It was an act of the parliament of Great Britain. This is an imposed tax on the thirteen colonies. This tax states that all paper printed products need a stamp on it with extra tax because of the stamp. This taxed the colonizers a lot of money.
